Last week, in the heart of Los Angeles’ fashion district, Lucky, the visionary behind LSD by Lucky, captivated a crowd of over 500 attendees with her latest runway show, “Creatures of eARTh.” At just 21 years old, Lucky has already showcased her talent in seven fashion shows. Since her partnership with seasoned journalist and operations manager, Ryan Leutz, LSD by Lucky has tripled its following and has been seen in some of the most exclusive rooms in LA.

In collaboration with the ever-talented Lydia Ren, who delivered an enchanting 30-minute performance with her band xvideos99, Lucky transported guests from the confines of an industrial warehouse into an otherworldly realm of elegance and artistry, turning a stark, unassuming venue into an incredibly captivating setting.

Unafraid of bold color, dramatic reds and blues backlit a lone olive tree, which stood as the show's main focal point. The colored lighting served to highlight Lucky’s striking use of texture in this collection.

The ethereal sounds of Lydia Ren’s voice carried down over the crowd from an elevated stage, as over 50 models, each showcasing their unique looks, emerged from behind the tree’s branches. Dreamy light and sound filled the formerly ambient space, and the show transformed into an immersive sensory experience for attendees.

Although featuring looks worn by the likes of Ashnikko, Machine Gun Kelly, Noah Cyrus, Trippie Redd, and more, “Creatures of eARTh” was more than a simple display of fashion; it was a vivid tapestry of human expression. Models of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds graced the catwalk, embodying their characters with an almost supernatural intensity.

To viewers, the atmosphere felt electric; charged with the palpable confidence and fierce passion of the models. Captivated by the experience; some gazed on in awe, with their faces reflecting a childlike sense of wonder. A few attendees were even moved to tears, fully immersed in the moment, with one individual even excusing himself mid-show to catch his breath, later revealing that he was overwhelmed with emotion.

This was an incredible feat to witness on its own, but what truly sets Lucky and her brand, LSD by Lucky, apart is her commitment to artistry and authenticity—an ethos that she infuses into every aspect of her shows.

“Lucky’s fashion shows offer an incredible experience that goes beyond just the clothes,” began Emwell, an icon in the underground music and fashion scene, who recognized Lucky's potential early in his career. “While it is undoubtedly a fashion event, it truly emphasizes the community aspect of uniting with fellow creatives. What Lucky and [LSD by Lucky] are building is something truly special, and I’m excited to witness their growth.” Emwell has featured LSD by Lucky in his popular YouTube series, “Well Well Well.”

This wasn’t just about clothing; it was about creating a space where collaboration and creativity thrived. Lucky’s community-centric approach invites others to use her designs as a vessel for their own artistic expression. The models weren’t simply wearing clothes—they were co-creators, immersed in a shared vision that celebrated their individuality and spirit.

Powerhouse singer, model, and frequent LSD collaborator, Lexy Panterra, shared her thoughts on modeling for Lucky: "Walking in Lucky's show allowed me to connect with my inner child. The way she designs her clothing feels instinctive and playful, and I truly enjoy wearing them!"

Many of Lucky’s designs are a reverent nod to punk’s golden age, echoing the groundbreaking spirit of the late, great, Vivienne Westwood, while adding her own Gen-Z twist. This collection’s deconstructed workwear and immaculate corsetry showcased how exactly Lucky’s creative vision seems to be the natural evolution of Vivienne’s. Albeit grungier and more grounded in the look of the modern punk scene, She seems inspired by the best of Westwood’s decades-long career, as demonstrated by their shared love of draping, tartan and outlandish silhouettes.

Despite the seemingly “thrashed” appearance of her pieces, Lucky’s thoughtful and often unorthodox use of recycled materials, paired with solid and meticulous construction ensures that her garments are built to last. From playing cards and cigarettes adorning suit jackets, to intricate crochet and lace, it felt impossible to tear your eyes away from one look in order to catch the next.

Utilizing upcycled materials poses its own challenges, but Lucky takes these in stride. In this way, LSD gave us yet another masterclass in making the most of whatever’s in front of you. In an era dominated by hyper-disposable fashion, her collection is a bold statement of sustainability and regeneration through enduring quality and craftsmanship.

“Lucky masterfully blends style and sustainability, transforming eco-friendly materials into exquisite works of art,” said one of LSD’s models, Yaz Xclusive. “Working with Lucky is truly inspiring; as a creative myself, I love being part of the creative process and witnessing their passion and innovation firsthand. Each show just keeps getting better and more inspiring, redefining what fashion can be!"

Brimming with character, the elegantly dressed, heavily tattooed, and plentifully pierced, Lucky and her designs further transformed her models into living works of art; celebrating individuality and self-expression in all its forms. This wasn’t just smoke and mirrors; it was the result of LSD by Lucky's profound commitment to open creative collaboration between designer and model, empowering each model to command the catwalk radiating a palpable confidence.

Lucky’s commitment to punk ideals—rebellion, authenticity, and community—guides every aspect of her work. In a sea of up-and-coming designers, she stands out not only for her impeccable design sensibility, but also for her ability to foster artistic innovation in herself and others. She boasts a rare combination of both artistic vision, and the unshakable drive to shift reality to align with it, come hell or high water. Her work is a bold declaration that modern fashion can, and should be both revolutionary and enduring, paying homage to icons of the past while blazing a new way forward.
