Toxic Relations Jacket [Large]
This jacket has a shell made of dark green waterproof polyester, lined with a fleecy navy blue interior which insulates the wearer. The seam of the jacket secures with a zipper. The jacket has no hood, just an upturned collar which hugs the neck. The sleeves of the jacket feature alternating stripes of dark green suede and pale yellow cotton. Purple bleached denim is substituted for pale yellow cotton at some points, creating a slight asymmetry in the sleeves. The inside of the sleeves is lined with soft yellow cotton sourced from Hanes Beefy Tees. The back of the jacket has a large acrylic painting which is painted directly onto the polyester. The painting depicts a Murakami-esque flower with a pipe mouth pouring water into a human figure’s mouth, which resembles a tunnel when viewed from the side. The painting depicts a toxic relationship in which one individual makes the other into a mere utility and dehumanizes them. The jacket has five pockets. Four pockets lie on its outside; the lower two secure with zippers while the upper two secure with flaps, one of which has a buttonhole. Inside the left flap of the jacket, another zipper pocket is sewn into the fleece
